Knotty Alder 2-Panel Sliding Barn Door

Here’s a large but simple two panel distressed knotty alder sliding barn door we built/installed for a customer. This door is installed with our standard 4″ barn door hardware set. Knotty alder is very easy to work with which makes it a preferred cabinet shop material. The knotty alder has a naturally aged and blemished look to it which lends itself well to being a rustic accent in a contemporary space. It also takes color very well and is one of our favorites for color matching because of its inherent blonde and neutral tone.
