Reclaimed White Oak Center Island

Here’s a reclaimed white oak center island we made for a home in Arcadia from our threshing floor material. We used our epoxy/coffee filler mix and reclaimed oak pegs and wood filler as well to smooth it out. We like to show off the natural wear and defects in the wood. Vista General, who commissioned us to build the piece, installed it and put a food safe wax finish on it. Looks great!
