Mission Style Reclaimed White Oak Table/Benches with Leaf

Here’s one of the more complicated builds we’ve done recently. This table has custom made ball bearing hardware we fabricated at Porter Iron Works. The table is made of 250+ yr old beams from a very old barn in Pennsylvania. The original 12″x13″ beam was resawn in our shop to make the top and some of the small pieces. The legs and tops for the benches and table were made from smaller beams and old barn flooring. The table has an 18″ leaf that brings it to a full 108″ in length. The (4) 42″ 2 person benches are designed to be used at either the ends or doubled up on the sides. Very cute table in a gorgeous home. The lacquer finish was a match to some existing furniture to help it coordinate. We were very excited to see this table in the space.
