Knotty Alder Double Sliding Barn Door

One of our customers, Dixie, asked us to design a door for her space. She showed us a picture of a door she liked. Given the width of the opening we could have done two doors, but opted to do one large door that looks like two for functionality. This door separates the house from her home-based business.

We made the door from our knotty alder stock at the shop and distressed, glazed and lacquered the door to give it that reclaimed look but soft to the touch feel. We also added matching steel straps at the bottom for decorative purposes. The door operates smooth and quiet.
