Floating Reclaimed Wood Bathroom Sink Base

Here is a reclaimed oak top for a bathroom vanity we built from a very old oak door buck. Most of our door bucks come from 200-300 yr old barns in Pennsylvania. The towel rack below is made from other similar woods from our yard. The brackets and everything needed to float the heavy top was made at Porter Iron Works. Installation was done by the customer’s contractor. This top has been finished in house by Bjorn to protect it from moisture but retain the old look and feel of the original wood. Sure looks cool!
