Custom Kitchen

Sep 23, 2019

This custom kitchen we remodeled includes custom kitchen cabinetry, island, reclaimed wood countertops, hand-carved range hood, and a very unique wood and iron sliding door that leads to a very well-planned pantry and laundry room we outfitted with similar cabinetry. The tops are made of our reclaimed mixed hardwoods with a warm, rich stain and conversion varnish finish to help protect them. The cabinets are a distressed white lacquer on knotty alder. The island is a custom distressed teal blue/green with tuned leg posts, and extra cabinets underneath the dine in bar for extra storage. The Hood includes a professional liner and lighting. It is made from pecan, alder, and several hand-carved elements using different hardwoods. The lower range cabinet is custom made to match the lines and ornate nature of the hood and has a similar finish. There’s also a custom framed menu board to the right of the range that is made from black glass and matching trim. This glossy surface is more appealing and easy to clean than a chalkboard alternative. The sliding door has a hand-forged iron ornamental grate integrated into the paneled and trimmed door style. This whole-home remodel we completed in 2018 has so many custom elements and wood features it’s hard to list them all.
