New Space
We are so excited to invite you to come see the new showroom and workshop. We built this very old looking building from the ground up using reclaimed brick. The modern woodworking shop has increased our capacity exponentially! Come take a look inside and see all of the details including some showroom spaces for inspiration in your own home. There’s more wood selection than ever, and we’re even opening up our new DIY supply. It feels like yesterday we were working at my home shop and a dirt lot. It’s been a wild ride the last few years and we’re so appreciative to all of you who have been following along and building wonderful projects from our materials. We hope you’ll join us for a fun day for the whole family.
Music
This year will be our first annual Porter Barn Wood Bluegrass festival. We’re bringing in some amazing talent from back east as well as some great local bands too. Bluegrass festivals are fun for the whole family and a great way to experience quality acoustic music. Click on the band links below for more info about the artists.
Food Trucks
We will have several food trucks to enjoy. The food trucks will be available for lunch and dinner.
Demonstrations
We will have some of our Porter Iron Works crew and Porter Barn Wood crew in the workshops demonstrating some blacksmithing and woodworking techniques we use in the shop. All are welcome. Schedule to be posted soon!
