We are hosting a “How to Build/Install a Barn Wood Mantel” workshop demo at Porter Barn Wood from 10am-Noon Saturday, June 2nd. We’ll be opening our doors at 7:00am for a Mantel Sale of both ready-to-install and rough beams for your DIY mantel project. In addition, we’ll be taking up to 20% off select mantel materials purchases all day. The workshop will take place in the air conditioned showroom, and we’ll show you how to go from rough beam or boxed beam to a fully installed mantel. We’ll cover both drywall/stud applications as well as masonry installations. We’ll show you some tips and tricks for making the install go smoothly. Come join us for the sale and for a fun DIY day!
