We’ll be hosting a pop-up course dinner after an excellent hands-on DIY tutorial on sign making! The event will be hosted in the showroom at Porter Barn Wood with ample parking on site. Every participant will leave with a completed sign. Doors open at 5:30. Hors d’oeuvres to start the night off right. The class starts at 6:00pm and ends around 9:00pm. DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \nWe are going to do a comprehensive class on techniques of barn door building and cover barn door hardware installation and design. We’ll cover a lot of ground\, so this class will probably be about 2 hrs. We’ll talk about wood selection\, construction\, tools necessary\, finish techniques\, and all sorts of ins and outs of barn door building. We’ll go over readily available hardware as well as our own custom hardware and special applications. If you’ve ever wanted to build and install your own barn door\, this is the time to come and learn. This class is completely FREE and we may even have some discounts and giveaways for those who participate. Don’t miss it! Please bring your own chair. We’ll setup in our new new workshop and transition to the showroom where we will install a completed barn door.
