Tickets are non-refundable. 12yrs & Under FREE \nSpecial Consensus – Grammy nominated in 2012 and 2018 \nThe Special Consensus\, a bluegrass band formed in 1975\, has achieved a contemporary sound in over four decades of performing\, making their music a modern classic. Band leader and founder Greg Cahill is a renowned banjo player\, a recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Achievement Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in 2011 and a 2020 inductee into the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America (SPBGMA) Hall of Greats. Under his direction\, Special Consensus has released 20 recordings and received five awards from the IBMA and two Grammy nominations for Best Bluegrass Album (2012 and 2018). Special Consensus’ sound is grounded in a deep appreciation and understanding of bluegrass music built on the foundation of Cahill’s banjo playing and now includes Greg Blake (guitar)\, Michael Prewitt (mandolin)\, and Dan Eubanks (bass). DESCRIPTION:We are opening up on Saturday\, October 8th from 7-11am for the Arizona Woodworkers to sell cutoffs\, extra material\, and some sale lumber “by the pound”. We’ll have a scale setup and all of the proceeds will benefit the woodworker’s club. If you have craft projects and other small projects and are looking for unique reclaimed\, or in some cases\, new kiln dried lumber\, this is the time to do it. 100% of the sales of these items will be donated to the club’s non-profit organization. DESCRIPTION:We are getting together on Sunday\, April 16th to eat\, listen to great music\, and pick a few. We hope you can come out and join us. We’re setting up a concert for Edgar Loudermilk and his band and preparing a nice bbq meal and refreshments to go along with it (Gluten Free Options Available on Request). Lunch starts at Noon and there will be music by Edgar’s band until 2pm. We’ll have a jam session setup afterwards so make sure you bring your instruments and hang out with us for a fun afternoon. The ABA is going to join us and have their tent up as well. All ages welcome. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Don’t miss it! \n PARKING: We have plenty of free parking in the lot just North of our building. We also have street parking available and there are handicap accessible spots in front of our building directly off 7th St. Tickets will be taken at the gate. \n \n
