Yellow Pine (Narrow)

Pine comes in many different species and looks. Yellow pine from back east was used in many splined floors in barns. It has a beautiful amber tone and makes life a little easier on your tools than some of the hardwoods. It’s also easier on the pocketbook from a materials standpoint as it has a lower market value than hardwoods and is lighter for shipping purposes. It still makes amazingly beautiful projects, so don’t let it fool you with its price.
