Hemlock Siding

Hemlock Fir is a staple wood across the north-eastern part of the United States. It’s a pretty amber tone, like yellow heart pine inside but has a number of different patinas when we find it as barn siding. The barns were typically painted at one time, so we find them with red, white, blue, black, and other colors occasionally. The interior boards were typically left unpainted, giving them a rustic brown tone.
