White Oak Threshing Floor Farm Table

Mar 8, 2014

This white oak threshing floor was from a very old barn in PA. The legs are the beams from the old loft ladders in another barn from PA. We designed this table to have the legs flush with the top. This presents a challenge when trying to create a sturdy table, but this one is built like a rock! It has a custom multistep finish where we used a glaze/lacquer/dirty brush combo and then did a wax finish. The color and texture is awesome. We had a lot of fun building this one. This particular material is harder and harder to find.
